The delegation of Kazan international airport at the conference «Ground Handling at the Airports - 2018»

On the 26 and 27 of September the representatives of international airport Kazan take part at the key sectorial meeting on the territory of Russia and CIS – at the 9th international exhibition and conference – «Ground Handling at the airports – 2018 », 200 participants of which are from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kirghizia, Tajikistan, Finland, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States of Ameriсa, Lithuania, Azerbaijan and Spain.

The main topics of the conference are
• Ground handling: cooperation of the airlines and the airports;
• Organization, management and technologies of ground handling;
•Informational flow in the service of effectiveness of handling;
•Development of ground handling at the airports;
•The issues of deicing.

The conference has acquired a special importance due to 2018 FIFA World Cup. Sports events of international standard have always put new challenges for airports and airlines to improve the standard of ground handling.

Ground handling director of international airport Kazan Anastasia Vasina shared experience of the airport during FIFA matchmaking in Kazan.

Additionally, among the speakers at the conference: Maurizio Anichini (co-founder and head, TWIGA Aero Aviation Training & Consulting), Oliver Schneider (head of commercial infrastructure of the airports in Eastern Europe and the Benelux countries, Lufthansa Group), Stefania Tomasini (manager of the programs for airports in Europe, IATA), and other experts.
