Kazan Airport opens a regular flight to Helsinki

Aviation authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Finland held consultations on the development of air services between the two countries. The negotiations resulted in an agreement on the appointment of Finnair company for regular service of the route Kazan - Helsinki.
Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan and the "Kazan" International airport management have carried out preliminary work with the Airline Finnair representatives: displayed a modern airport infrastructure, passengers handling and aircraft maintenance technologies and the renewed custom vehicles park.
Representatives of the airline valued highly the Kazan airport capacity, its technical capabilities and quality of passenger handling.
"Helsinki Airport is one of the leading airports in the Northern Europe and a popular interchange hub. We are glad to cooperate with the airline Finnair - is a stable company that can offer our passengers a high quality service and flight opportunities. Helsinki – is a modern city with outstanding architecture and excellent opportunities for recreation. The flights will be very popular, as many people now plan their own traveling and have repeatedly expressed their wish of open regular flights availability from Kazan to Europe. In the nearest future - is the opening of regular flights from Kazan to Prague and Barcelona"- says Aleksey Starostin, the CEO of "Kazan" International airport OJSC.
